Today as part of our new weekly meal plan we made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. Actually, I only facilitated. I put the butter on the bread, but Danya and Gloria made the sandwiches and the tomato soup. I figure the whole meal cost approximately $3, and it was extremely tasty! I love that teaching my girls to cook can count as "Home Economics". I wish my mom had taught me to make something other than a birthday cake from a box. Speaking of birthday cakes, we let Kevin pick out his at the store. He'll be having a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for his birthday on Saturday. The girls will be having another "home ec" lesson when they make it!
