If you've been reading my blog lately you've probably noticed me talking about the "Teacher's Friend" books that have reproducible pages. I photo copy the images and use them for all kinds of things like art projects (painting fish) to writing, math, memorization aides (states and capitol feet).
Anyway, we found a bunch of these at a yard sale yesterday. I finally got the book for the month of April which completes my set. Now, they are the 1988 version which has less pages, but they are still my favorite, most used homeschooling resource. In the store these cost $16, as we recently learned when Banks School Supply basically cheated us by telling us to let them have it shipped from their other local store instead of driving over to get it ourselves. Then they messed up our order for two weeks and raised the price. (Have I mentioned that we won't be shopping there anymore?) We got them for about a $1 a piece.
So we even bought the ones that we already had copies of. We figured that someone reading this website might like to try one of these books themselves. Therefore, if you want one of these books for only the cost of shipping, we'd be happy to send it to you. We only have these five books to give away "January, February, March, May, December". The first five people to post in the comments section of this post and claim which month they want will get them. You need to have access to a copier to make them useful, by the way. I love my copier.

Hi, I believe I would like to try out the December one. I will send you a email to exchange info. What a great find...
Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
I think I would like to see the May issue, please. That is so thoughtful of you to share. Let me know what the postage is. Do you send books media mail? It is cheaper.
Yes, we're going to the post office tomorrow to find out what the cheapest route to go is. We've sent videos media mail before, so I was hoping we could do the same thing.
These sound interesting; I'll take January, please. Thank you for sharing! I like your Blog, by the way, many times you've inspired me!

I would love February's issue (I think that is the one that's left). Let me know how much I owe for shipping and where to send it. I can do PayPal if that is easiest.
Thanks for sharing your find!
Great! So all the books are claimed now. I'm heading to the post office to find out about shipping and send out Glenda and Christina's books (since I already have your address). I'm also including a few little things that shouldn't add to the weight, for your kiddos.
I know it depends a little on where you live, but the price was close to the same for shipping. One package cost $2.47, the other was $2.13, both shipped with media mail and nothing extra. So if you email me your addresses, I'll send the books. Then when they arrive you can send the shipping money in whatever form you want. My return address will be on the package. And no cost for the book or the packaging. Hope you enjoy the books!
