Answered Prayer!

Philippians 4:19 "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."

God is good! We've been searching for a kitchen table that we could fit our whole family around once the new kids get here and today we found it! We've been praying about it and looking online and at garage sales for a couple of months now. All the ones online cost $500 or more! New ones were over $1,000!

This Sunday we asked our Sunday school class to pray with us about our need for a big table for not much money. Today, just one day later, we found the perfect table a block from our house! It expands and has three leafs to make it bigger, and the sides can drop down. Also the legs are in the center so the chairs aren't being squished between two legs on the ends. There's plenty of room to fit 3-4 people per side and one on each end. And it even fits in our kitchen!

Now for the best part. The owner originally wanted $125 for it. We knew that was a good price, but that it was too high for us. He dropped the price twice and finally we asked if he'd take $40 for it. He said yes!!! He even bought the old beat up extra table we had in our garage, and is considering buying the one we were using in our kitchen, so we may wind up just having a "table exchange" and making a slight profit overall. God is so good! He is able to go so far beyond our hopes and expectations and meet all our needs!
