Puppet Theatre

The girls made masks and paper animals and put them on popsicle sticks. Then they invited us down to watch the performance. They wrote the beginning of the story on a giant piece of paper. They even had a stuffed animal audience. They dressed Dusty and some of the other dolls in real clothes and sat them in chairs to watch the show. The funniest part was watching them try to keep the cardboard box from collapsing while they were doing their puppet show.

Later today, for Danya's special time, I let her use my new voice recorder to record herself reading out loud from one of her library books, "The Man Who Wore All His Clothes". She also informed me that she and Gloria had used up the entire ream of computer paper we gave them and she expects me to restock the drawer. Daniel says that at least he knows they are using it (for puppet shows and such) and it's not being wasted.
