Mr. Taylor became my band director when I signed up for band in the eighth grade (eighth - yes, I had to google the spelling). I was disrespectful and not very interested in band. I was mostly there because it was easier than gym and all my friends were in it.He straightened me out and taught me alot about pride, respect, commitment, determination, and success. I don't think I would be who I am today if it hadn't been for his influence in my life. We took this picture after the alumni luncheon on Saturday after the parade. He said he was proud of how I had turned out. It was really good to see him and talk to him again. I can't wait until the next alumni band reunion.
