We stopped at the Kit Carson Carousel on our way back home yesterday. It was closed for the season so all we could do was peak in the windows. Kevin really liked it. It was pretty there so we took some photos and read all the signs that gave information about the carousel.It was originally built and used at Elitch Gardens (Six Flags now) in Denver. It's over 100 years old now. We figured it was a good little mini- homeschool field trip. Hopefully next year we can actually ride it.
