First Snow of the Season

We had a day of snow fall that just looked pretty, but didn't stick. Then we had a day where there was actually enough to call it a snowy day. All the kids got their winter stuff on. Daniel found the hats and gloves box in the garage, and Katie got to try on her first snow suit.

Now, technically, I believe it snowed last Spring after Katie was born, but she was much too small to be out in it. Mostly, I just remember trying to hobble past the melting puddles on my crutches. This time, though, Katie was able to go outside and feel it falling on her lashes, stick her mittened hands out to catch it, and laugh herself silly watching the other kids slip off the snowy slide at the playground. It was snow much fun!

I can not believe you guys have snow already!! My kids have been begging us to move to a state with snow. It's been in the high 80's here. Too hot for fall clothes or pumpkin patches(hope to visit one this weekend while we are in the mountains).

I just know you guys will have so much fun this winter!!

Wow. It looks like fun! And...look how darn great you look. You really look great. How do you lose the pregancy weight so fast? Crazy. It takes me years.

Thanks for all your posts on my blog. It means a lot. As far as the food storage goes, I am also storing the smaller cans. I have such a small house that it is crazy to try and store it all! I just know I feel better able to care for my children when I am prepared.
