We had a fun, wet, Independence Day in Oklahoma with Daniel's family. Thinking about "independence" though, makes me realize that we are not very independent. We depend on each other, on our family, on our church, on our friends and neighbors, and even on our government to work with us. In this day and age I'd say we couldn't have achieved so well our goal of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" without many other people. I just pray that our government leaders will realize soon that they depend on "we the people" just as much if not more than we depend on them.
Happy InterDependence Day!
