An Inside Look Into Our Big Crazy Adoptive Family!
Friday, December 11, 2015
This marks the beginning of my attempt to restart my blog. I've got a new computer, a new baby, and hopefully a new motivation to get back into documenting our family's crazy lifestyle. Major changes have happened here, and not just an additional family member. Ryker was born in August and, as of this school year, all our kids except the baby are enrolled in public school. It's been quite the roller coaster ride, but we are hanging in there. We're currently in the midst of home renovations to make our house feel new again. Life is crazy, as always, but I really want to have a record to look back on. So, here's to a new year about to start and maybe even getting caught up on old photos and events that have happened since I stopped blogging. Wish me luck!
I'm a 38 year old Christian mom of 10 kids. I have six girls; Danya age 15, Gloria age 14, Jordan age 13, Brianna age 13, Katie age 6, and our other 6 year old Karyie. My four sons include Michael age 12, Shane age 11, Kevin age 9, and Ryker age 4 months. I also was a foster mom for about 5 years. In 2009 we adopted two of the 33 kids we've fostered. In April 2012 we adopted three more! I've been happily married to the love of my life, Daniel, for 19 years!
For privacy reasons we cannot post identifying pictures of foster children. That's why their faces are covered or only the backs of their heads are shown. We also give them nicknames to protect their privacy.
The Mini Homeschoolers
Danya and Gloria are "The Mini Homeschoolers" in a series of YouTube videos where they answer questions about homeschooling from a younger perspective. These videos are based on the ones created by two funny homeschooled young men called "Ask the Homeschoolers".
