Short Lived Juror

I got called for jury duty again.  Since it's by calendar year, I could, technically, get called again as early as January.  Daniel came with me to chauffeur and bring Ryker to me when I needed to nurse him.  I was really surprised that nursing a baby every two hours was not an automatic excuse to get out of serving.  Normally, I like jury duty.  It's interesting. But with all the kid's stuff going on and Ryker's demands on my time, it just wasn't feasible.

In the end, it took up a whole morning.  I would up in the jury box waiting for a chance to explain why I'd be suffering a hardship if I had to serve.  The judge dismissed me, thankfully.
