Options Music Concert
Danya's drum class performed a special for Christmas. Danya played the drum that she designed and built herself. She painted a bible verse, Matthew 4:9 "He who has ears, let him hear", on it along with suns that swirl around the base. She stretched the hide across the top and wrapped the ropes herself. The bottom is PVC pipe and the top is a flower pot. Danya even had a solo during one of their pieces.
Brianna also performed with her Hands on Music class. She did a little dance and played the hand bells. The auditorium was dark, so it was hard to get good photos. They both had a great time, though.
I'm a 38 year old Christian mom of 10 kids. I have six girls; Danya age 15, Gloria age 14, Jordan age 13, Brianna age 13, Katie age 6, and our other 6 year old Karyie. My four sons include Michael age 12, Shane age 11, Kevin age 9, and Ryker age 4 months. I also was a foster mom for about 5 years. In 2009 we adopted two of the 33 kids we've fostered. In April 2012 we adopted three more! I've been happily married to the love of my life, Daniel, for 19 years!
For privacy reasons we cannot post identifying pictures of foster children. That's why their faces are covered or only the backs of their heads are shown. We also give them nicknames to protect their privacy.
The Mini Homeschoolers
Danya and Gloria are "The Mini Homeschoolers" in a series of YouTube videos where they answer questions about homeschooling from a younger perspective. These videos are based on the ones created by two funny homeschooled young men called "Ask the Homeschoolers".
